Effective Date: 2 October 2026
Indian Forum Awards wants the public website, award information, application steps, and applicant portal to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or other assistive tools.
1. How the website is built
- Pages use headings so sections such as award details, policies, and contact information can be skipped to.
- Menus, forms, and buttons are available with a keyboard, not only with a mouse.
- Form fields for contact, sign-in, registration, and applications have visible labels.
- Important images, including the site logo and icons that convey meaning, include text alternatives. Decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them.
- Text can be resized with the browser zoom without a separate control on the page.
- The navy, gold, and white colours used across the site are intended to keep text readable against its background.
2. Accounts, applications, and certificates
Creating an account, tracking an application, verifying a certificate, and downloading an invoice are part of the same website. If a step is unclear or cannot be completed with your assistive tool, contact the secretariat and we will help you finish that step by another route where we can.
Certificates and some applicant documents are files. If a file cannot be read by your software, tell us the application or certificate number and we will provide the information in another form where it is reasonable to do so.
3. Known limits
- Photographs and documents uploaded by applicants are provided by those applicants. We cannot guarantee that every uploaded image has a useful description.
- Payment is completed on Razorpay. The security check on sign-in and registration may be provided by Google reCAPTCHA. Those services have their own accessibility arrangements.
- A temporary maintenance window or a slow connection can interrupt a page. The Terms & Conditions describe website availability.
4. Report an accessibility barrier
If you cannot use a page, form, or document, please contact us. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive tool you were using. We will look into the barrier and reply with the next step.
